When my father died five years ago, I used his shirts to make quilts for my mother, an Itsy Bitsy heart picture for my son and a stained glass picture for my daughter. I created a quilt for myself and talk to my dad when I snuggle underneath it. A part of him lives on for us, wherever we are.
