As I should have been teaching borders and assembling group quilts I decided I needed to make one too. I don’t make large quilts for myself very often so Coronavirus provided me with the time to play. I decided to use William Morris fabrics but use a range of seminole inspired borders. I used different Westalee templates to quilt each border to reflect the various patterns. It has a sheet as backing which was in my bottom drawer 40 years ago and it felt right to use it and celebrate our Ruby anniversary. I’m happy with the result.
